Brazilian eligibility

I'm from Brazil and would like to know if my country exclusion bans me from joining the hackathon or just from winning prizes. Thanks

    Hi Vinicius - We wish we did not have to exclude countries from global competitions. The exclusion is not a Devpost policy as such rather a restriction we are forced to implement due to the legal situation regarding skill based contests (i.e. hackathons) in Brazilian law.
    No one would rather this situation were different more than us. There are some great developer communities in Brazil and we would love to work with them. It’s just a matter of complying with US and local laws.
